Doug Birr grew up on a dairy farm near Oconto Falls, Wisconsin.  Doug gave his life to the Lord at a young age. He attended Crown College in Minnesota, and Nyack Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York. While serving as a youth pastor in Lincoln, Nebraska, he met his wife, Jean. They were married in 1979 and moved to Campbellsport in November of 1985 to begin a new ministry there. They have two grown children, Nate (married to Sierra) and Tiffani (married to Mark Robinson) and three adorable grandsons, Caleb, Gabriel, and Elijah Robinson, and four precious granddaughters, Chloe, Sophie, Laynie, and Josie Robinson.
